Special Sections

Kansas Traveler's special sections are designed to provide information beyond the three month period covered by regular issues - rates for each special section consequently are also different than regular rates.
 
When special-section ad rates have been established each year, they will appear on this website. They also will be announced to those who receive our emailed newsletter, KT Enews. • Winter - Photo calendar: This annual calendar spans two pages, making it almost two feet wide and more than one foot tall; it features Kansas photos by Kansas photographers.
   
  If you have a high-speed connection, you can see pdfs of the 2007 and 2008 calendars. The two pages that make up these calendars are placed side-by-side as a two-page spread. You'll see the styles are different. The style for 2009 has not yet been determined.
   
  
• Spring - Kansas Sampler Festival Guide: The Kansas Sampler Foundation uses Kansas Traveler to produce the guide for the Kansas Sampler Festival, held each year the first full weekend in May. This is a pull-out section that contains exhibitors' contact information, making it a year-round resource for readers.
   
  If you have a fast connection, you can view a pdf of the eight-page 2008 Festival Guide. (Note, pages 4 and 5 need to be viewed side by side as a two-page spread.)
   
  
• Fall - Holiday Marketplace: This new section is a win-win, providing you, the advertiser, with great exposure to shop-at-home buyers. It is for Kansas businesses that ship. The Holiday Marketplace is the perfect venue to sell your products for holiday gift giving (and year-round as well). Ads in this section do qualify for multiple-run agreement discounts. Other special sections: As other sections are developed they will be announced via KT Enews and on this website. If you are getting KT Enews, you will be notified as soon as the details are finalized.
 
Advertising Agreement Holders: Not all special section ads receive a discount but all ads do count toward meeting your multiple-run agreement.

As you consider which agreement level to set up, include the special section ads in the total number of ads needed to fulfill the agreement.
